We were at dinner and my father had invited his piano teacher.

My life is littered with these episodes. If today mortal sin had throat still makes sense (to me is a bit 'expired seen what man has managed to invent in the meantime, but this might just be a personal vision and opportunistic) I would be one of the first sinners in the world.

time ago, reading "Emotional Intelligence" by Daniel Goleman, I discovered the marshmallow test conducted at Stanford and as usual picked up by TED (the video it's fun)
In this test, offered to children of a marshmallow, telling him that if they could wait 15 minutes without eating, would have had another. Since then the results are noted and followed the children in their lives. The experiment has been going on for decades and has shown that children who had learned to wait, have had some success in their lives, while most of those who had not been able to resist, they had problems.
Now I'm not sure I would spend the experiment.
